Originally I got it set up, it just repeatedly starts over, doesn’t mine,, and there’s no way to contact the seller, but now I’m in contact with both the seller and the engineer, and it seems the problem is with my choice of wallet. Waiting for new wallet to arrive.

The product is nicely built and worked as expected. It was also very easy to set up and start operation. Of course the chance of really hitting a block are almost zero but I did not expect much given the extremely low hash rate of the device and the low price. After all, the seller does not make any promises and this is fair enough on the seller's side. The device is excellent as an educational tool, however, for introducing newcomers to the bitcoin ecosystem (the devices software is available on GitHub I think). In all, very satisfied by the product, in the context described above.

Simply does not work. No firmware was installed. So I did a hard reset and reflashed. NOTHING. This is a useless piece of equipment and I'd like my money back.

Save yourself money, buy the LILYGO T-Display-S3, flash the nerdminer software and make your own case. WAAAAY cheaper. This is just an overpriced pre assembled version of what I just described.
